Where Can We Find Peace?

There are so many scary things going in the world these days. It is hard to find peace and have faith sometimes. This talk by Elder Cook really helped me to put things in perspective and made me realize that peace is real. We can all find peace but it is not in the world but in Jesus Christ.

Paying it forward, Jayden Lamb style!

So there is a movie, and maybe you have heard of it or seen it, called Pay if Forward. I like the movie and the message that it conveys. And recently, I came across a real life example of exactly what that movie, and the main character, were trying to portray and inspire in people. It is events like this that continually inspire my faith in the indomitable human spirit. And reminds me that there are a lot of great people out there. Check out this video below about an amazing little boy named Jayden Lamb and how he has inspired a community, a state a nation and the world:

I love the idea of paying it forward. Today, when I was at my son's school I saw the values that they teach there hanging on banners from the ceiling. One of them was Generosity. The definition was "giving without expectation of something in return. This is the idea of paying it forward. Lets all look for ways to "pay it forward whether in memory of Jayden Lamb or someone else who has helped or inspired you along life's path.
